The Association's continuing support to the club in the form of donations continued as we recently agreed to fund the purchase of 500 new seats to replace the old worn out ones in the centre of the Sainsbury's Stand behind the directors/executive box.
It was with enormous sadness that we learned of the death of Phil Davies. Phil was a mainstay of the association, having fulfilled a number of crucial roles in his many years of loyal service to both ourselves and the club, from running the 50/50 draw to organising match day catering.
Furthermore, his sterling work for youth football meant he made an impact on the lives of many young people in the Wrexham area, opening up to them the opportunity to enjoy the benefits of our wonderful game.
However, it is the loss of a true friend which hits the hardest. Phil was marvellous company, a caring man who always offered a warm welcome.
He will be sadly missed.
