Proctor arrived at The Racecourse at the back end of the 2006-7 season and scored some crucial goals as Brian Carey's side saved themselves. He wasn't able to rescue the side the following campaign, although he did finish the season as top scorer with a respectable tally despite often playing on the right of a 4-3-3 or not being selected. Proctor was put on the transfer list in the Summer, but remains at The Racecourse.
